Content Budapest announces raft of confirmed buyers, first speakers, CEE100 execs, Ukrainian delegation, pitch competition, Digital Screenings for June event

Content Budapest has announced the first raft of buyers confirmed for the June event and announced the initial speakers and CEE100 execs who will bring fresh perspective to the market.

Senior buyers are backing C21’s Content Budapest, which is set to build on the global success of Content Americas, Content LA, Content Canada and the multi award-winning Content London, connecting pan-regional executives with the international market around a progressive agenda. C21 has also opened the Content Budapest Pitch, which uses C21’s global platform to discover the next generation of local shows and connect them with a global audience of 200,000 content industry executives. The pitch competition carries a $20,000 marketing prize across C21 platforms and brings the winners to Content London to continue development of the winning show. The official Ukrainian delegation, Ukrainian Content. Global Cooperation (UC.GC), will be part of Content Budapest. UC.GC – a union of the leading Ukrainian broadcasters, media groups, and creative powerhouses aiming to build a bridge between Ukraine and the international AV industry. The UC.GC members FILM.UA Group, Suspilne Ukraine, Starlight Media, 1+1 media also run the Ukraine Content Club, a non-profit organization intending to strengthen Ukraine as a high-end supplier of unique and demanded content across a variety of genres for screens worldwide. There will be further information about the UCC Pitch, which – backed by C21 – is developing a raft of new drama from Ukraine in partnership with the international market.
